Our Treatment Process
Once you’ve decided to go for Enlighten, you’ll get started with an initial consultation with our treatment coordinator to assess your teeth and note the type of discolouration. Whether these are coffee stains, red wine stains, or the usual discolouration that we all face as we age, the custom whitening trays that you receive will lift both surface and deep stains to give you the results that you want.
Before you start your treatment, our coordinator will capture a digital scan of your teeth to form the basis of your take-home whitening trays, and to give you a good point of reference to track your progress and monitor the visible changes. You’ll also be provided with a free anti-sensitivity serum to prepare your teeth and reduce any discomfort whilst our team prepares your take-home Enlighten teeth whitening kit, but since this treatment isn’t light activated it is unlikely that you will experience any discomfort.
Once your kit is ready you can take it home and get started on your fast-acting treatment. For the first 2 weeks you will need to wear your trays overnight, but on the third and final week you can reduce this to just 1 hour a day, and the process does not require any dietary restrictions during or after the treatment.
