How the Obagi Blue Skin Peel works
The peel is a quick, simple and tolerable procedure that takes about 30-40 minutes, depending on the number of coats you have been advised to have. The peel encourages the production of collagen by using a low concentration of Trichloroacetic acid (TCA) mixed with a special blue glycerine base. After it has been spread over the face, it is peeled off to reveal fresh skin cells underneath. These cells are often smoother and less wrinkled than your old skin and the skin is both clearer and tighter.
After the procedure, you may experience slight swelling and your skin will begin to peel within two to three days. When the peeling process has ended, you will see the dramatic and positive effects of your facial.
